Several Bollywood personalities including Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have managed to have a wax figurine of themselves added to the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.
And cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar is the latest Indian addition.
While all the stars have their own loyal fans to take snaps and click photographs, apparently, Salman Khan is the most kissed actor at the wax museum amongst the Bollywood fraternity.
According to the spokesperson at Madame Tussauds, “Salman beats all the Indian personalities in popularity charts…he is the most kissed and most photographed amongst the lot.” Khan joins the likes of Hollywood’s Justin Timberlake who is the most hugged at the museum.
Hot hunk Neil Nitin Mukesh and chirpy actress Preity Zinta have been roped to endorse the Italian brand of watches, Morellato.
The international brand makers flew down to India to rope in this sensational actor saying ‘Neil has got the looks of an international star, and, with his stubble on, he looks rugged.’
It seems that the watch makers are particularly looking for the tough look whilst maintaining brand image in an international market.
Doesn’t the couple’s remarkable on-screen chemistry ignite filmmakers to cast them together?
Memories are still afresh on the atrocious acts of Salman Khan when he ran over some people who were sleeping on the pavement.
Blame it on his rash driving!
And now, the same Salman has started a public awareness ad campaign where he asks people not to ignore the victims of hit and run cases.
The ad, directed by Nikhil Saini, talks about how people ignore victims who are in distress on roads when hit by someone. It shows a man hit by a vehicle who is left to die.
Says Nikhil Saini, Yes, Salman has done a 90-second ad with us. After the story unfolds, Salman comes to give a public service message. He is wearing ‘Being human’ shirt and he says, “Apni zimmidari se mat bhagiye. Responsible aur zimmedar logo ki zaroorat hai is desh ko.” The ad also has Vipin Sharma, (Darsheel Safary’s father in Tare Zameen Par) and Shailendra Gaur, in it. We are quite hopeful of driving home the point.”
Boy! The question, is Salman the right man for this ad? Tell us what do you think?

Actress Riya Sen recently complained to producer Subhash Ghai about her role in the movie Paying Guest. She alleged that director Paritosh Painter had cut-down her role in favor of actress Neha Dhupia.
Sources say that Riya’s friends saw the film and told about her chopped role in the film.
However, Subhash Ghai totally empathizes with Sen’s complaint and pacifies Sen by pointing out that an actress of her caliber shouldn’t rely on hearsay.
He further adds that there are eight more characters to be accommodated in the film.

These days, musician-singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya is looking juvenile in his new hairstyle. He’s all excited with his four big releases Radio, Ishq Unplugged, Kajrare and A New Love Ishtory.
“Nothing is impossible if you set your heart on it. There may be setbacks, but don’t give up,” says Himesh merrily.
He even refused to sing for AR Rahman saying that he only wants to sing in films he’s acting and promises us to see a different Himesh
Talking about cinema, Himesh said, “The days of running around trees are over. After doing all kinds of roles, I discovered that comedy is my forte.”
Himesh plays a RJ in Radio, playing tribute to all RJs of the world. Talking about his role in the film, he adds, “Don’t undermine my capabilities, you’ll be surprised.”
“Radio is a cool romantic comedy and I have adapted myself to the character. It’s not one of your over the top ‘Yo’ guys, but someone very identifiable. His lingo is very contemporary and youth centric.” He added.
He also plans to rope in Radio Mirchi to promote the film. Prashant Pandey, CEO of Mirchi, has some good words to say. “Himesh has shown himself to be a versatile actor in addition to being a hit singer. After the Bacchan duo, there’s another father-son duo script in the folding!
Any guesses?
It’s our Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman.
The father-son actor duo are on course to share the screen space for the film Dekh Bhai Dekh – film version of the popular comedy TV serial of 90s ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh‘.
Ecstatic Adhyayan says, “My father is the finest actors the country has today, and I believe what he did in Dekh Bhai Dekh remains an unmatchable performance till date. I am fortunate to perform in front of him. I have learnt a lot from him off-screen, but this would be the first time that I would be performing along with him.”
“I used to be nine or ten years old when I used to visit the sets of Dekh Bhai Dekh. It was a cult show on television and it amazes me beyond belief that it’s being made into a film,” adjoins Adhyayan.
This comedy flick (budget of 30 crores) spins around a young boy from the rich Diwan family of Dekh Bhai Dekh, who want to join the army.
And not surprisingly, Anand Mahendroo is directing the flick, who also directed the TV serial.
This looks to be a great hilarious flick and we post you on the developments!
Call it the busy itinerary! Else you could have seen a new politician on the stage.
Ask who? We’re talking about Priyanka Chopra. Yup!
Congress party approached Priyanka Chopra to contest elections from the same constituency where earlier Govinda contested. But Priyanka’s diary was too occupied to take the political plunge.
Priyanka didn’t refuse the offer initially, but on second thoughts, she turned the offer.
According to very sources “The Congress wanted a glamorous and younger Bollywood candidate after Govinda for the prestigious Mumbai North constituency. Sonia Gandhi was very keen to offer piggy Chops. But Priyanka’s recent illness and shooting schedule might be the reason for the hottie’s refusal.
But we hope people don’t mind having two Priyankas (Chopra and Gandhi) in one party.
Karan Johar has now signed in John opposite both, Kajol and Kareena his remake of Chris Columbus’ Stepmom.
Kareena and Kajol are sharing the screen space after Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham eight years ago. The interesting twist to look for is that this venture could mark the end of the John-Kareena spat.
The John-Kareena fiasco dates long back when Kareena called John ‘expressionless’ on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee with Karan. And John retorted saying Kareena was ‘over-expressive’. But all that was passé as both have signed the film.
Ironically, it was Karan show that ignited the argument, and now he was the one who brought backs them together, at least on screen.
Tell us how their on-screen presence would be? Especially after the patch up.
