Abhishek Bachchan seems to overwhelmed to see his dad’s performance in the movie Rann that he showered praises on his dad on his Twitter page.  Only that the praise seemed to look a little too over the top.

Abhishek Bachchan wrote on his Twitter page, “We don’t deserve a talent like Mr Amitabh Bachchan! Don’t think we can make movies to fit his talent!”

That of course seemed not to go down well with his page readers… the fact that he regards Bachchan as an actor superior than the Indian Film Industry.

One follower replied to that “It’s really lame to praise your own family, in media, especially to this extent. You should let people praise him!”

To which Abhishek replied, “Would love to hear everyone’s opinion. My opinion? Well, its my Twitter page, so I have the freedom to write whatever I want and praise whoever I want. Don’t like it? Don’t read it!”

Another follower replied, “Its arrogant 2 say, ‘Don’t like it, don’t read it’. Whole world knows your father’s credentials. He has respect & admiration of all (sic).”

One thing that Abhishek didn’t pick up from his father is… the knack of choosing and using words wisely! Pity!

Saif and Kareena Kapoor landed to launch the Lonely Planet magazine. While Kareena went casual with a Just Cavalli halter black and white gown and tied her hair up, Saif was spotted without his regular beard in a clean shaven look… Reminds me of his Ole Ole days… I think beard suits him better! A week before the release of Shahrukh’s next film My Name is Khan, Madame Tussauds wax museum added the Baadshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan, who got immortalized in the form of a wax statue in Southern California.

A source reports, “Dostana 2’ plans to take the fun quotient to another level and also have a lot of sex appeal. Katrina has one of the best bodies in the industry and having her sport beach wear will be a huge attraction for the film.”

“She hasn`t sported the sexy look for a while. In ‘Dostana 2’, she will be seen in clothes that make her look more sexy than cute,” added the source.
