What Kind of Content do we look for?

We are an all-in-all bollywood site with news, gossips, movie previews and reviews, music reviews and Television news. We invite you to write on any of these topics. As long as the news is interesting and something that our readers love, we would love to have it on our website.  Go through these links to have an idea of the kind of  articles we are looking for:

NOTE:

Every article has to be accompanied by a picture of less than 500 pixels width and less than 50kb in size. Image should not be watermarked

Articles need to be a minimum of 150 words long

How will I qualify to earn?

Once your first post is approved you will be given a contributor ID by which you can submit posts but they wont be published on RottenTamatar unless someone moderates and your post is published. If your post gets published then you will earn Rs.50 for the article. Please bear in mind that rejecting posts is completely a prerogative of Rottentamatar and you dont get paid anything for submitting the post for review. Only if your post is approved are you liable for payment. But let that not deter you – we reject post most often only for duplicity of the article (if someone has already submitted the same news and we have posted it. Be an early bird!)

NOTE: We are strictly against copying content from other sources and reproducing them here. Contributors found plagiarizing content shall have their contributor ID suspended.

When do I get paid?

You get paid in the 1st week of every month. Your total no of posts (published) are calculated and the same is multiplied by Rs.50* and the amount is sent to you by paypal or cheque (For Indian contributors).

How do I get paid?

Contributors can choose to be paid via cheque(contributors residing in India) or paypal. Please note that payments made via Paypal are subject to service charge deductions from Paypal . Kindly keep us updated of your paypal id.

So how do I get started?

If you dont have a contributor ID yet then send us your first article to contribute@ygoy.com along with your name, phone no. and Paypal ID. Please mention ‘Rottentamatar Contributor‘ clearly on the subject. If this post is approved by us then we shall email you back with your contributor id. Once you have a contributor ID you have officially become a part of the RottenTamatar Team!
