Javed Akhtar Felicitated
posted in Bollywood News |Bollywood’s highly praised lyricist Javed Akhtar was felicitated with the Taj Tareef Award at the Red Lounge of Cinemax, Versova by the Taj Enlighten Society.
Speaking on the occasion, Javed said, “I am truly delighted by the initiatives undertaken by the Taj Enlighten Film Society. They are not only appreciative about good cinema but also take the efforts of revive the magic of world cinema and allow its audience to experience it. The society’s concerted effort to hone skills of budding scriptwriters is commendable.”
Anjum Rajabali, writer of National Award winning films such as Pukar and Legend of Bhagat Singh and Vikram Grover, Category Head – Beverages, Hindustan Unilever Limited gave the award to Javed.
There was a workshop conducted on scriptwriting with Javed Akhtar, where he shared his experiences and thoughts on Indian Cinema.
