Paathshaala is a film that focuses on the effect of the educational system on children. Featuring Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia in the lead roles , the movie will be released all over on April 16. The movie also cast Nana Patekar in a very major role.

The film is directed by Milind Ukey and is produced by Bollywood choreographer Ahmed Khan and his wife Shaira. Ahmed opines that the film will attract the audience with its topical subject.

Actor R. Madhavan will for the first time be seen playing a character with “grey shades” in his upcoming film “Teen Patti”. Rakesh Roshan’s forthcoming home production- Kites, which stars his son Hrithik Roshan opposite Mexican actress Barbara Mori, is being pushed to be released around Christmas time so that the release does not clash with other movies releasing in the month of January when the movie was originally scheduled to be released. Rakesh Roshan, the producer of the movie, has reportedly asked the director Anurag Basu, to speed up the process of production so that the movie can reach the cinema halls a month ahead of its scheduled release in December itself. It be noted, however, here that Aamir Khan’s three Idiots is also scheduled to release around the same time in December during Christmas. Does Papa Roshan think Aamir’s movie will not be significant competition?

Kites is a multilingual production about a love story of two people who fall for each other in spite of language and cultural barriers. Hrithik Roshan plays a dance instructor in the movie who falls in love with a Mexican beauty, played by Barbara Mori, who is a popular actress in Mexico. Kangana Ranaut is also a part of the movie to introduce a third angle to the story and make it thus, an emotional love triangle of a story. The movie is predominantly being shot in foreign locales, and is based in Las Vegas.

Anurag Basu, who has to his credit films like Gangster, Life in a Metro has dabbled mostly in content that deals with adultery. It waits to be seen if he can change his style to suit Rakesh Roshan’s commercial larger-than-life cinema vision and give Hrithik’s numerous fans a touching love story in Kites as a Christmas gift.

Shahid Kapoor seems to be on a roll these days. After the success of Kaminey, where he plays a double role with two equally powerful and popular characters, he has now been signed up to play the lead actor for forthcoming production Yahoo.

In this movie, Shahid plays a struggling actor who tried desperately to secure his first break. After a lot of struggle, just when he is confirmed by a producer as the hero of the latter’s next flick, he is engulfed in a sea of personal turmoil and is forced to consider alternative options to thrive in his state of penury.

Circumstances, gradually unfold in such a manner, that he is forced to teach dance to kids that he cannot stand, for the purpose of making a living. This arrangement to earn money, however comes to his goodluck when the producer of the movie decides to drop Sameer, played by Shahid, as the male lead of the movie and decides instead, to pick the winner of a reality contest, designed on the concept of a dance competition, as the hero of his venture.

Shahid, is convinced by the girl in his life, to change his attitude towards the kids and look at the competition with a positive attitude. The film has a happy ending, when Shahid wins the contest and becomes what he had always dreamt of- a Superstar.

Main aur Mrs. Khanna is being produced by Sohail Khan and Ronnie Screwwala and has Sohail khan playing a part of the lead cast. This movie will see Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan playing the lead couple who fall in love and have an almost perfect life until one day something goes wrong. The movie explores the various dimensions of an extramarital relationship. Do we smell some inspiration from KANK??

Kareena Kapoor will be seen with someone other than Shahid, Akshay and Saif after a long time. The pairing, while it seems refreshing, makes one wonder why was Katrina not chosen for the lead role opposite Salman even when they are supposed to be thick and Katrina is one of the most sought after female actors in bollywood land today. Would Salman or Sohail care to clarify?

Acid Factory is one the most awaited films of the year. It boasts of a kick-ass script where the lead actors wake up after a memory-erasing sleep and cannot seem to remember their true identities. Instead their persona imbibes the hues of violence and chaos ensues.

Love Khichdi has Ranbir hooda playing the chief chef protagonist of the movie Vir. Vir keeps unsteadily moving from one girl to the next unable to find the true soul mate while he is still struggling in the process to understand himself and his desires.

His love interests come in a variety of flavours and are played by Riya Sen, Divya Dutta, Rituparna Sen gupta, Sonali Kulkarni, Kalpana Pandit, supermodel Jesse Randhawa and Sada.

After the rave reviews that the movie ‘A Wednesday’ had recieved, the flick seems to have caught the fancy of actor-director-producer Kamal Hassan. The Tamil remake of the movie, under the name of ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ is already underway.

The cast had daughter Shruti Hassan and Akshara Hassan helping daddy out with the Coreo and the music. Shruti ji with all her international connections in the music scene has reportedly roped in a famous rap artist for a do in the movie. Looks like this is one movie whose music is going to be worth waiting for.

All the best is a new movie production from the house of the Devgan’s. This rib-tickling comedy boasts of the who’s who of the bollywood comedy world with apna munna bhai Sanju Baba playing the lead role. He is supported by Ajay Devgan and Fardeen Khan. Devgan house has roped in Mughda Godse of the ‘fashion’ film fame and also has Bips starring across one of the supporting leads.
